Sport has played an important role throughout my life. Yet, golf wasn't initially the obvious choice of study.
After completing bilingual pre-university education (VWO) in high school, studying at Tilburg University was my first choice. Golf had been on the back burner during this period, but I certainly hadn't forgotten it. Halfway through my first year, the itch returned, and I decided to pursue my true dream.
That beautiful game, which I had discovered by chance on a holiday in Canada, simply held too much appeal.
I was given the opportunity to learn from four experienced instructors at G&CC Herkenbosch.
Two years later, I became the youngest golf professional to graduate with a B diploma. A year later, I began training for the coveted A diploma.
As an avid athlete, I work hard on my game. I take playing on the Dutch tour very seriously. My preparations take place not only on the golf course but also off the course in the gym. This is how I combine my two great passions: golf and fitness.
Physical ability and development are paramount to me in my quest to find the most effective swing for my students.
